- NOTE: All 3 bugs are now fixed. (2nd June 1993).
- After the WPX contest weekend I found 3 bugs in my WPX program. Here's a list of
- what is wrong with the program.
- 1. In the summary report it prints the score for each band as a short
- integer and so any score over 32767 prints as a negative number.
- FIXED.
-
- 2. Each prefix is only counted once no matter which band it is worked on. So
- if you worked more than one band but only ask for a single band report,
- some of the prefixes worked on other bands will be counted as if they were
- already worked on the requested band. The score will be lower than it should
- be. An all-band entry is generated correctly as far as the prefixes are
- concerned.
- FIXED. If you request a single band report, the program rescores the log.
-
- 3. U.S. callsigns with a portable indicator on them are not always handled
- correctly. For example, the prefix for the callsign wu6g/5 should be counted
- as wu5 but the program counts it as w5. This is obviously not correct.
- FIXED.
